Welcome to Mountainjoy!
Spring was a very inspiring time for me. I have had a project idea on the back burner since 2010. It has now acheived it's fruiting. Along with all the other custom quilts, I am now offering the creation of custom made Healing Quilts. Long arm quilting and custom quilts are created with care and consiousness at Mountainjoy. I love every aspect of quilting from the design stages and the construction of the tops to the quilting itself. There is something very special about quilts and how they make people feel. Quilts have a way of being precious. Perhaps because the thought, care, and love put into them is as important as the design elements involved. Quilts touch us with every stitch and they tell stories. Each story is as unique as it's creator.
When you look at the wide variety of quilts in my various galleries, you will quickly see that I will take on any creative endeavor. I love challenges! It one of the great things about being self-taught, I know the rules and when they can be broken.
